I'm a recording musician and have just updated my workstation to a new sony vaio which came pre-loaded with windows 7. Workshop manual coventry victorville. This is where my problems start!I have an eKeys 49 usb midi keyboard which i use when i'm running synthesiser programmes.

When I first installed it, it seemed to be fine, I even tried it out to make sure. Now I have plugged it in again and it said it was installing the drivers again.

Thisseemed to go fine, however i'm getting no response on the computer when I hit the keys. The device is recognised when I go to set it as an iput controller so the computer see's it and recognises it's name.The model is no longer made so I can't get 'windows 7' drivers from the company, and I definately don't want to go back the way with my OS.I just don't understand why it worked untill it was unplugged and now it doesn't?!Any help would be greatly appreciatedCheersJohn D.
