Chain Issues Contains Anchor
We're trying to get rid of all of the orange in our SSLLabs.com report. We have a couple of minor 'issues' that I'm working on but the one that I can't find a crystal clear resolution for is that our certificate chain 'Contains Anchor'. From what I've gathered this is not a 'problem' and it appears on our report because we're offering up the COMODO Root Certificate as part of our certificate chain. The various blogs that I've seen about it indicate that it isn't harming anything but may 'slow down handshaking'. I want to remove this warning. If I browse to Traffic Mangement SSL Certificates Server Certificates, we have our server cert and the COMODORSADomainValSecureSrvrCA certificate (the intermediate). They are also listed under Client Certificates. Under CA Certificates, we have COMODORSADomainValSecureSrvrCA and COMODO RSA CA (the COMODO Root). Can I just 'Unlink' the COMODO RSA CA to resolve this or will that break us?If that's not a viable option, can anyone offer any advice or point me to a guide on removing the anchor without breaking the chain? Thanks!NS MPX 9700NS12.0 58.15.nc.
